Between October 2007 and December 2008, I was the assistant designer at One Week To Live Magazine. Distributed nationawide through HMV and FOPP stores, OWTL circulated 25000 copies weekly and quickly became the UKs leading free, music magazine.
The magazine was designed and layed-out in Adobe Indesign, with other elements being created in Illustrator. Photographs were processed in Photoshop.
Maintaining a clean, contemporary aesthetic was essential when designing the magazine to ensure maximum advertising potential - the magazine's primary source of finance.
The gallery below contains a number of our most memorable cover designs, and examples of the page-layout.
